W\u00e4hrend Umweltfaktoren wie die Ern\u00e4hrung einen starken Einfluss auf das Wachstum des menschlichen K\u00f6rpers haben, ist klar, dass die K\u00f6rpergr\u00f6\u00dfe ein hoch vererbbares Merkmal ist. Tats\u00e4chlich wird angenommen, dass bis zu 80% der K\u00f6rpergr\u00f6\u00dfe einer Person genetisch bedingt sind! Die K\u00f6rpergr\u00f6\u00dfe ist jedoch ein sehr komplexes Merkmal, das von vielen Varianten im gesamten Genom beeinflusst wird. Um h\u00f6henassoziierte genetische Varianten zu identifizieren, untersuchte diese Studie mehr als 250.000 Personen europ\u00e4ischer Abstammung. Die Forscher entdeckten 697 genetische Varianten im Zusammenhang mit der K\u00f6rpergr\u00f6\u00dfe. Zusammengenommen erkl\u00e4ren diese Varianten ~ 16% der zwischen Menschen beobachteten H\u00f6henunterschiede. Einige der identifizierten Varianten befinden sich in der N\u00e4he von Genen, die an der Knochen- und Knorpelentwicklung beteiligt sind.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>HAST DU GEWUSST?<\/strong> Ab dem 40.
