Eine kleine Papillengr\u00f6\u00dfe korreliert mit der Anf\u00e4lligkeit der Sehnerven f\u00fcr verschiedene degenerative Erkrankungen. Um die genetischen Determinanten der Papillengr\u00f6\u00dfe besser zu verstehen, analysierte diese Studie die Genome von \u00fcber 95.000 Personen europ\u00e4ischer Abstammung und entdeckte 115 genetische Varianten im Zusammenhang mit der Papillengr\u00f6\u00dfe, von denen 90 neu sind.
