Es ist gekennzeichnet durch ungew\u00f6hnlich hohe Konzentrationen an eosinophilen wei\u00dfen Blutk\u00f6rperchen und Entz\u00fcndungen kleiner und mittlerer Blutgef\u00e4\u00dfe. Das fr\u00fche Stadium der Krankheit ist durch eine Entz\u00fcndung der Atemwege gekennzeichnet, die Asthma verursacht.
