Ocurre cuando las dos c\u00e1maras superiores del coraz\u00f3n no est\u00e1n sincronizadas con las c\u00e1maras inferiores. Esto generalmente causa debilidad y dificultad para respirar. Este estudio busc\u00f3 combinar factores gen\u00e9ticos y cl\u00ednicos para predecir el riesgo de fibrilaci\u00f3n auricular en m\u00e1s de 1000 personas de ascendencia japonesa. Confirmando investigaciones anteriores, los investigadores identificaron 5 variantes gen\u00e9ticas asociadas con AFib.
