Para comprender mejor el componente hereditario de este rasgo, este estudio realiz\u00f3 un estudio de todo el genoma. Al examinar 4.838 individuos obesos y 5.827 delgados de Suecia, este estudio identific\u00f3 dos variantes gen\u00e9ticas novedosas relacionadas con un mayor riesgo de obesidad. La variante gen\u00e9tica m\u00e1s significativa se localiz\u00f3 en el gen KCNMA1, que participa en la contracci\u00f3n del m\u00fasculo liso y en la se\u00f1alizaci\u00f3n neuronal. El estudio tambi\u00e9n confirm\u00f3 el v\u00ednculo entre la obesidad y el gen BDNF que promueve la supervivencia, el crecimiento y la diferenciaci\u00f3n de las neuronas.<br\/><\/p>\n\n<p><strong>\u00bfSAB\u00cdAS?<\/strong> Puede prevenir la obesidad en todas las etapas de la vida.
