Se cree que los factores gen\u00e9ticos influyen en la determinaci\u00f3n del riesgo de que una persona desarrolle esta afecci\u00f3n. Este estudio de asociaci\u00f3n de todo el genoma examin\u00f3 a m\u00e1s de 140.000 individuos de ascendencia europea para identificar variantes gen\u00e9ticas asociadas con la hipertensi\u00f3n.
