Factores ambientales, incluidos algunos herbicidas, pesticidas y exposici\u00f3n al rad\u00f3n, se han relacionado con un mayor riesgo de desarrollar CLL. Este estudio encontr\u00f3 m\u00faltiples variantes gen\u00e9ticas que est\u00e1n asociadas con un mayor riesgo de desarrollar CLL despu\u00e9s de examinar los genomas de 10,767 individuos de ascendencia europea. Estas variantes reci\u00e9n descubiertas explican aproximadamente el 1% de la heredabilidad de la CLL y casi el 17% cuando se combinan con variantes descubiertas anteriormente.
