Les plaies chroniques sont d\u00e9finies comme des plaies qui ne montrent pas de signes de gu\u00e9rison apr\u00e8s une p\u00e9riode de 3 semaines ou plus. Des \u00e9tudes ant\u00e9rieures ont montr\u00e9 que la cicatrisation r\u00e9ussie d&rsquo;une plaie est affect\u00e9e par la composition microbiologique de la plaie. Par exemple, les plaies qui sont principalement colonis\u00e9es par seulement quelques esp\u00e8ces microbiennes (= faible diversit\u00e9 microbiologique) semblent gu\u00e9rir plus lentement. Cette \u00e9tude a tent\u00e9 de trouver des marqueurs g\u00e9n\u00e9tiques associ\u00e9s \u00e0 la diversit\u00e9 des microbiomes dans les plaies chroniques. En examinant les informations g\u00e9n\u00e9tiques de pr\u00e8s de 80 patients, l&rsquo;\u00e9tude a identifi\u00e9 6 variantes g\u00e9n\u00e9tiques qui peuvent \u00eatre utilis\u00e9es pour calculer un score polyg\u00e9nique qui explique 53% de la variation de la diversit\u00e9 microbiologique des plaies.
