On pense que pr\u00e8s de 10% de tous les cas de cancer du sein sont h\u00e9r\u00e9ditaires. Cette \u00e9tude a examin\u00e9 les donn\u00e9es g\u00e9n\u00e9tiques de plus de 215 000 femmes d&rsquo;ascendance europ\u00e9enne pour identifier les r\u00e9gions g\u00e9n\u00e9tiques associ\u00e9es \u00e0 un risque accru de d\u00e9velopper un cancer du sein. L&rsquo;analyse a d\u00e9couvert 206 variantes dans 129 r\u00e9gions g\u00e9nomiques fortement associ\u00e9es au risque de cancer du sein. Collectivement, ces variantes g\u00e9n\u00e9tiques expliquent plus de 20% du risque de cancer h\u00e9r\u00e9ditaire. Bon nombre des variantes d\u00e9couvertes sont proches de g\u00e8nes li\u00e9s au syst\u00e8me immunitaire, ce qui indique son importance pour nous prot\u00e9ger contre le cancer.<br\/><\/p>\n\n<p><strong>LE SAVIEZ-VOUS?<\/strong> La recherche sugg\u00e8re qu&rsquo;une exposition \u00e0 long terme \u00e0 certains plastiques peut augmenter le risque de d\u00e9velopper un cancer du sein.
