Les prot\u00e9ines de lumi\u00e8re neurofilamentaire (NFL) sont souvent utilis\u00e9es pour tester la pr\u00e9sence ou la progression de la maladie d&rsquo;Alzheimer et d&rsquo;autres troubles neurod\u00e9g\u00e9n\u00e9ratifs. La contribution g\u00e9n\u00e9tique menant \u00e0 une augmentation des taux de NFL dans le sang n&rsquo;est pas bien comprise. Cette \u00e9tude a examin\u00e9 545 participants blancs non hispaniques afin de trouver des variantes g\u00e9n\u00e9tiques li\u00e9es \u00e0 une augmentation des taux sanguins de NFL et donc, \u00e0 un risque accru de maladie d&rsquo;Alzheimer. Les variants g\u00e9n\u00e9tiques identifi\u00e9s ont \u00e9t\u00e9 localis\u00e9s dans le g\u00e8ne CD1A &#8211; un g\u00e8ne qui joue un r\u00f4le dans le syst\u00e8me immunitaire.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>LE SAVIEZ-VOUS?<\/strong> Le contr\u00f4le de l&rsquo;hypertension art\u00e9rielle ou des taux \u00e9lev\u00e9s de cholest\u00e9rol peut r\u00e9duire votre risque de maladie d&rsquo;Alzheimer.
