Afin de mieux comprendre la composante h\u00e9r\u00e9ditaire de ce caract\u00e8re, cette \u00e9tude a r\u00e9alis\u00e9 une \u00e9tude \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9chelle du g\u00e9nome. En examinant 4 838 personnes ob\u00e8ses et 5 827 personnes maigres de Su\u00e8de, cette \u00e9tude a identifi\u00e9 deux nouvelles variantes g\u00e9n\u00e9tiques li\u00e9es \u00e0 un risque accru d&rsquo;ob\u00e9sit\u00e9. La variante g\u00e9n\u00e9tique la plus importante a \u00e9t\u00e9 localis\u00e9e dans le g\u00e8ne KCNMA1 &#8211; qui est impliqu\u00e9 dans la contraction du muscle lisse et dans la signalisation neuronale. L&rsquo;\u00e9tude a \u00e9galement confirm\u00e9 le lien entre l&rsquo;ob\u00e9sit\u00e9 et le g\u00e8ne BDNF qui favorise la survie, la croissance et la diff\u00e9renciation des neurones.<br\/><\/p>\n\n<p><strong>LE SAVIEZ-VOUS?<\/strong> Vous pouvez pr\u00e9venir l&rsquo;ob\u00e9sit\u00e9 \u00e0 toutes les \u00e9tapes de la vie. Plus les b\u00e9b\u00e9s sont allait\u00e9s longtemps, moins ils risquent de devenir en surpoids en vieillissant. Pour les enfants et les adultes, les moyens de pr\u00e9venir cette maladie sont assez similaires: manger des repas \u00e9quilibr\u00e9s et sains, faire de l&rsquo;exercice r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement (au moins 30 minutes pour les adultes et une heure pour les enfants la plupart des jours de la semaine) et ne pas trop manger.
