On pense que les facteurs g\u00e9n\u00e9tiques jouent un r\u00f4le dans la d\u00e9termination du risque d&rsquo;une personne de d\u00e9velopper cette maladie. Cette \u00e9tude d&rsquo;association \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9chelle du g\u00e9nome a examin\u00e9 plus de 140 000 individus d&rsquo;ascendance europ\u00e9enne pour identifier les variantes g\u00e9n\u00e9tiques associ\u00e9es \u00e0 l&rsquo;hypertension. L&rsquo;\u00e9tude a identifi\u00e9 107 variantes, dont 32 \u00e9taient nouvelles.
