Le terme nonyndromique indique que ces d\u00e9fauts ne sont associ\u00e9s \u00e0 aucune autre anomalie ou sympt\u00f4me que ceux directement caus\u00e9s par la maladie. Cette condition se produit lorsque le tissu qui forme la l\u00e8vre ne se joint pas compl\u00e8tement tandis qu&rsquo;un palais se produit lorsque les tissus qui forment le toit de la bouche ne se rejoignent pas. Cette \u00e9tude a examin\u00e9 2573 individus d&rsquo;une population chinoise pour identifier des variantes g\u00e9n\u00e9tiques associ\u00e9es au NSCL \/ P. Il a trouv\u00e9 une variante significative dans une longue r\u00e9gion non codante du g\u00e9nome.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>LE SAVIEZ-VOUS?<\/strong> La chirurgie peut souvent traiter avec succ\u00e8s ce NSCL \/ P si elle est effectu\u00e9e dans l&rsquo;ann\u00e9e suivant la naissance. Le risque de cette anomalie cong\u00e9nitale peut \u00eatre diminu\u00e9 en prenant de l&rsquo;acide folique et en \u00e9vitant de boire ou de fumer pendant la grossesse.
