La LAL est le cancer le plus courant chez les jeunes enfants, repr\u00e9sentant environ 85% de tous les cas. Pour identifier les variantes g\u00e9n\u00e9tiques susceptibles de contribuer au d\u00e9veloppement de la LAL, cette \u00e9tude d&rsquo;association \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9chelle du g\u00e9nome a analys\u00e9 les g\u00e9nomes de pr\u00e8s de 22 000 individus d&rsquo;ascendance europ\u00e9enne. L&rsquo;\u00e9tude a d\u00e9couvert 16 variantes g\u00e9n\u00e9tiques associ\u00e9es \u00e0 la LAL, dont 4 \u00e9taient nouvelles. L&rsquo;\u00e9tude a estim\u00e9 que les loci identifi\u00e9s expliquent collectivement 31% de la variance du risque g\u00e9n\u00e9tique de LAL.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>LE SAVIEZ-VOUS?<\/strong> La chimioth\u00e9rapie est un traitement efficace pour la LAL. He earned an M.S. and is currently a Ph.D. Candidate in the Biological and Biomedical Sciences (BBS) Ph.D. program at Harvard University.\u00a0He has experience in science policy as an intern at the Science and Innovation Network where he assisted in the science diplomacy functions of the British Consulate-General and as a research associate at TScan Therapeutics.
