Plus une personne est intelligente, plus elle est susceptible de mener une vie longue et saine et moins susceptible de vivre des \u00e9v\u00e9nements de vie n\u00e9gatifs comme la faillite. Pour mieux comprendre l&rsquo;influence g\u00e9n\u00e9tique de l&rsquo;intelligence, cette \u00e9tude a analys\u00e9 les donn\u00e9es de plusieurs \u00e9tudes d&rsquo;association pang\u00e9nomique ant\u00e9rieures. Au total, 78 308 individus d&rsquo;origine europ\u00e9enne ont \u00e9t\u00e9 examin\u00e9s pour les effets de la g\u00e9n\u00e9tique sur l&rsquo;intelligence. La plupart des variantes nouvellement d\u00e9couvertes se trouvaient dans des g\u00e8nes qui sont principalement actifs dans le cerveau et sont impliqu\u00e9s dans la r\u00e9gulation du d\u00e9veloppement cellulaire. Ces variantes aident \u00e0 expliquer ~ 5% de l&rsquo;h\u00e9ritabilit\u00e9.
