Par exemple, les patients souffrant de troubles anxieux et de troubles obsessionnels compulsifs peuvent percevoir plus de situations comme risqu\u00e9es que les autres individus. Dans cette \u00e9tude, plusieurs analyses d&rsquo;association \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9chelle du g\u00e9nome ont examin\u00e9 1 million d&rsquo;individus d&rsquo;ascendance europ\u00e9enne qui ont auto-d\u00e9clar\u00e9 leur inclination \u00e0 un comportement \u00e0 risque. La tol\u00e9rance au risque a \u00e9t\u00e9 mesur\u00e9e \u00e0 l&rsquo;aide de divers comportements: l&rsquo;aventure, la propension \u00e0 la vitesse automobile, les boissons par semaine, le tabagisme et le nombre de partenaires sexuels. Des centaines de variantes g\u00e9n\u00e9tiques ont \u00e9t\u00e9 identifi\u00e9es dans ou \u00e0 proximit\u00e9 de g\u00e8nes qui sont fortement exprim\u00e9s dans le cerveau et jouent un r\u00f4le dans la signalisation entre les neurones.
