Il agit comme une source d&rsquo;inflammation pour les organes et peut entra\u00eener un risque accru de d\u00e9velopper des maladies cardiovasculaires et m\u00e9taboliques, comme la maladie coronarienne et le diab\u00e8te. En examinant les donn\u00e9es g\u00e9n\u00e9tiques de pr\u00e8s de 400 000 individus d&rsquo;ascendance europ\u00e9enne, cette \u00e9tude a d\u00e9couvert 102 nouvelles variantes qui peuvent contribuer au risque d&rsquo;accumulation de tissu adipeux visc\u00e9ral chez un individu. Ces variantes g\u00e9n\u00e9tiques \u00e9taient \u00e9galement li\u00e9es \u00e0 un risque accru d&rsquo;hypertension art\u00e9rielle, de crise cardiaque, de diab\u00e8te de type 2 et de taux \u00e9lev\u00e9s de graisses dans le sang.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>LE SAVIEZ-VOUS?<\/strong> L&rsquo;augmentation du stockage des graisses visc\u00e9rales est souvent li\u00e9e au stress chronique.
