Pour mieux comprendre le r\u00f4le du g\u00e9nome f\u0153tal, cette \u00e9tude a analys\u00e9 les g\u00e9nomes de pr\u00e8s de 154 000 individus d&rsquo;ascendance europ\u00e9enne, afro-am\u00e9ricaine, chinoise, philippine, surinamaise, turque et marocaine. L&rsquo;\u00e9tude a d\u00e9couvert 60 variantes g\u00e9n\u00e9tiques associ\u00e9es au poids \u00e0 la naissance. Certaines de ces variantes g\u00e9n\u00e9tiques ont r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 une relation entre l&rsquo;insuffisance pond\u00e9rale \u00e0 la naissance et le d\u00e9veloppement de l&rsquo;hypertension art\u00e9rielle, du diab\u00e8te de type 2 et de la maladie coronarienne plus tard dans la vie. \u00c0 l&rsquo;inverse, des poids de naissance \u00e9lev\u00e9s ont montr\u00e9 un lien potentiel avec l&rsquo;ob\u00e9sit\u00e9. Certaines des variantes d\u00e9couvertes sont proches de g\u00e8nes impliqu\u00e9s dans notre m\u00e9tabolisme, ce qui indique comment ces variantes pourraient influencer le poids \u00e0 la
