En un peu plus d&rsquo;un an, il a infect\u00e9 8 000 personnes et caus\u00e9 plus de 900 d\u00e9c\u00e8s dans le monde. Les sympt\u00f4mes typiques comprennent une forte fi\u00e8vre, des maux de t\u00eate et une toux s\u00e8che. Des \u00e9tudes ant\u00e9rieures ont montr\u00e9 que<em> interf\u00e9rons<\/em> peut inhiber la r\u00e9plication du SRAS<em> coronavirus<\/em> en induisant la production de prot\u00e9ines antivirales comme MxA. Cette \u00e9tude a d\u00e9montr\u00e9 qu&rsquo;une variante g\u00e9n\u00e9tique (rs17000900) proche du g\u00e8ne MxA influence son activit\u00e9 lorsque les cellules sont expos\u00e9es \u00e0<em> interf\u00e9rons<\/em> . L&rsquo;\u00e9tude a \u00e9galement examin\u00e9 les informations g\u00e9n\u00e9tiques de plus de 1200 personnes d&rsquo;origine chinoise et a \u00e9tabli une relation entre cette variante g\u00e9n\u00e9tique et le risque de SRAS.<em> coronavirus<\/em> infection. Les r\u00e9sultats sugg\u00e8rent que l&rsquo;all\u00e8le A du variant rs17000900 est li\u00e9 \u00e0 une diminution de la sensibilit\u00e9 au SRAS<em> coronavirus<\/em> infection.
