Cette \u00e9tude a d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 un algorithme pour pr\u00e9dire l&rsquo;\u00e2ge \u00e0 partir d&rsquo;images c\u00e9r\u00e9brales. La diff\u00e9rence d&rsquo;\u00e2ge pr\u00e9vue (PAD), une mesure du vieillissement acc\u00e9l\u00e9r\u00e9, a \u00e9t\u00e9 calcul\u00e9e en soustrayant l&rsquo;\u00e2ge chronologique de l&rsquo;\u00e2ge pr\u00e9dit. Les PAD calcul\u00e9s ont \u00e9t\u00e9 utilis\u00e9s dans une analyse d&rsquo;association \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9chelle du g\u00e9nome qui a inclus plus de 16 000 participants d&rsquo;ascendance europ\u00e9enne et a li\u00e9 2 variantes g\u00e9n\u00e9tiques au vieillissement acc\u00e9l\u00e9r\u00e9 du cerveau. La premi\u00e8re variante \u00e9tait corr\u00e9l\u00e9e \u00e0 la largeur des sillons \u00e0 la surface du cerveau et la deuxi\u00e8me variante \u00e9tait li\u00e9e \u00e0 la zone de mati\u00e8re blanche (connexions entre les r\u00e9gions c\u00e9r\u00e9brales) observ\u00e9e dans les images c\u00e9r\u00e9brales. <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>LE SAVIEZ-VOUS?<\/strong> Des \u00e9tudes ont montr\u00e9 que se sentir jeune est en corr\u00e9lation avec un vieillissement c\u00e9r\u00e9bral plus lent.
