De nombreuses recherches ont \u00e9t\u00e9 men\u00e9es pour trouver des variantes g\u00e9n\u00e9tiques associ\u00e9es \u00e0 une pr\u00e9disposition au cancer du sein. Cependant, la plupart des \u00e9tudes ont \u00e9t\u00e9 men\u00e9es chez des femmes d&rsquo;ascendance europ\u00e9enne, manquant potentiellement de variantes associ\u00e9es au cancer du sein qui sont moins courantes chez les Europ\u00e9ens. Cette \u00e9tude d&rsquo;association pang\u00e9nomique a combin\u00e9 les donn\u00e9es g\u00e9nomiques de plus de 310 000 femmes d&rsquo;origine asiatique et europ\u00e9enne et a identifi\u00e9 28 nouvelles variantes associ\u00e9es au risque de cancer du sein. L&rsquo;\u00e9tude a \u00e9galement confirm\u00e9 plus de 100 variantes g\u00e9n\u00e9tiques pr\u00e9c\u00e9demment identifi\u00e9es et trouv\u00e9 des diff\u00e9rences dans le risque g\u00e9n\u00e9tique de cancer du sein en fonction de la race.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>LE SAVIEZ-VOUS?<\/strong> Les changements de mode de vie peuvent r\u00e9duire le risque de cancer du sein, m\u00eame pour les femmes ayant une pr\u00e9disposition g\u00e9n\u00e9tique \u00e0 la maladie.
