Il se produit dans la prostate &#8211; une glande chez les hommes qui produit le liquide s\u00e9minal. Pour identifier de nouvelles variantes g\u00e9n\u00e9tiques associ\u00e9es \u00e0 cette maladie, cette \u00e9tude a examin\u00e9 les g\u00e9nomes de 7 240 individus. La variante la plus significative trouv\u00e9e \u00e9tait dans le g\u00e8ne MLPH qui joue un r\u00f4le essentiel dans le d\u00e9veloppement de la pigmentation de la peau et des cheveux. L&rsquo;\u00e9tude a \u00e9galement identifi\u00e9 des variantes dans les g\u00e8nes voisins qui jouent un r\u00f4le dans la formation de filaments cytoplasmiques qui sont des brins de mol\u00e9cules de prot\u00e9ines importantes pour la forme, le mouvement et la signalisation des cellules.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>LE SAVIEZ-VOUS?<\/strong> Bien qu&rsquo;il n&rsquo;existe aucune m\u00e9thode de pr\u00e9vention connue, un mode de vie sain devrait r\u00e9duire votre risque de contracter cette maladie. He earned an M.S. and is currently a Ph.D. Candidate in the Biological and Biomedical Sciences (BBS) Ph.D. program at Harvard University.\u00a0He has experience in science policy as an intern at the Science and Innovation Network where he assisted in the science diplomacy functions of the British Consulate-General and as a research associate at TScan Therapeutics.
