C&rsquo;est le troisi\u00e8me cancer le plus r\u00e9pandu aux \u00c9tats-Unis, mais les facteurs de risque g\u00e9n\u00e9tiques restent mal connus. Cette \u00e9tude a examin\u00e9 125 478 personnes d&rsquo;origine europ\u00e9enne et asiatique et a d\u00e9couvert 30 nouvelles variantes g\u00e9n\u00e9tiques associ\u00e9es au risque de d\u00e9velopper cette maladie. Une association particuli\u00e8rement forte a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9tect\u00e9e pour un variant g\u00e9n\u00e9tique proche du g\u00e8ne CHD1 qui est impliqu\u00e9 dans la r\u00e9gulation de la transcription. D&rsquo;autres variantes d\u00e9couvertes concernaient des g\u00e8nes qui jouent un r\u00f4le dans la signalisation cellulaire et le syst\u00e8me immunitaire.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>LE SAVIEZ-VOUS?<\/strong> Un d\u00e9pistage r\u00e9gulier du cancer colorectal, surtout apr\u00e8s 45 ans, est recommand\u00e9. Le maintien d&rsquo;un poids sant\u00e9 et la limitation des viandes rouges ou transform\u00e9es peuvent \u00e9galement aider \u00e0 r\u00e9duire votre risque.
