Cette \u00e9tude d&rsquo;association \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9chelle du g\u00e9nome a analys\u00e9 les donn\u00e9es g\u00e9n\u00e9tiques de 95 380 hommes japonais pour mieux comprendre les facteurs g\u00e9n\u00e9tiques qui contribuent \u00e0 cette condition. L&rsquo;\u00e9tude a d\u00e9couvert 46 variantes g\u00e9n\u00e9tiques dont 35 sont nouvelles, et collectivement ces variantes expliquent environ 9% de l&rsquo;h\u00e9ritabilit\u00e9 de mLOY. Bon nombre des variantes g\u00e9n\u00e9tiques identifi\u00e9es sont proches de g\u00e8nes actifs dans les cellules souches sanguines.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>LE SAVIEZ-VOUS?<\/strong> Des \u00e9tudes ont montr\u00e9 que le tabagisme peut augmenter consid\u00e9rablement le risque de perte de mosa\u00efque du chromosome Y. Il y a de bonnes nouvelles pour les fumeurs qui cherchent \u00e0 arr\u00eater &#8211; la m\u00eame recherche a montr\u00e9 que les fumeurs pr\u00e9c\u00e9dents n&rsquo;\u00e9taient pas plus susceptibles d&rsquo;avoir une perte de chromosome Y que les non-fumeurs.
