Cependant, une croissance anormale des cellules B a le potentiel de former un lymphome diffus \u00e0 grandes cellules B (DLBCL), une forme agressive de cancer. Des ant\u00e9c\u00e9dents familiaux de lymphome ont d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e9t\u00e9 associ\u00e9s \u00e0 un risque accru de d\u00e9velopper la maladie. Cette \u00e9tude a examin\u00e9 plus de 17 000 personnes d&rsquo;ascendance europ\u00e9enne pour caract\u00e9riser davantage les facteurs g\u00e9n\u00e9tiques associ\u00e9s \u00e0 un risque accru de d\u00e9velopper la maladie. Elle a identifi\u00e9 2 nouvelles variantes associ\u00e9es \u00e0 un risque de d\u00e9velopper une DLBCL, toutes deux situ\u00e9es \u00e0 proximit\u00e9 de g\u00e8nes jouant un r\u00f4le dans le syst\u00e8me immunitaire.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>LE SAVIEZ-VOUS?<\/strong> Le DLBCL est exceptionnellement sensible \u00e0 la chimioth\u00e9rapie, qui est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement utilis\u00e9e en premi\u00e8re ligne de traitement.
