Dans les cas graves, l&rsquo;AA peut mettre la vie en danger. Cette \u00e9tude d&rsquo;association \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9chelle du g\u00e9nome visait \u00e0 identifier les variantes associ\u00e9es au risque d&rsquo;an\u00e9mie aplasique s\u00e9v\u00e8re en examinant les informations g\u00e9n\u00e9tiques de pr\u00e8s de 3 000 personnes d&rsquo;origine europ\u00e9enne. Les r\u00e9sultats ont indiqu\u00e9 2 r\u00e9gions g\u00e9n\u00e9tiques li\u00e9es au risque d&rsquo;AA s\u00e9v\u00e8re. Les deux r\u00e9gions g\u00e9n\u00e9tiques codent pour des prot\u00e9ines du syst\u00e8me antig\u00e8ne leucocytaire humain (HLA) qui joue un r\u00f4le dans la r\u00e9gulation du syst\u00e8me immunitaire.<\/p>\n\n<p><strong>LE SAVIEZ-VOUS?<\/strong> L&rsquo;exposition \u00e0 des produits chimiques toxiques comme les pesticides et les insecticides peut augmenter le risque d&rsquo;an\u00e9mie aplasique. He earned an M.S. and is currently a Ph.D. Candidate in the Biological and Biomedical Sciences (BBS) Ph.D. program at Harvard University.\u00a0He has experience in science policy as an intern at the Science and Innovation Network where he assisted in the science diplomacy functions of the British Consulate-General and as a research associate at TScan Therapeutics.
