La plupart des CSC peuvent \u00eatre facilement \u00e9limin\u00e9s, mais s&rsquo;ils ne sont pas trait\u00e9s, ils peuvent p\u00e9n\u00e9trer plus profond\u00e9ment dans la peau et les cellules canc\u00e9reuses peuvent se propager \u00e0 d&rsquo;autres parties du corps. Cette \u00e9tude a combin\u00e9 les donn\u00e9es de pr\u00e8s de 700 000 individus d&rsquo;origine europ\u00e9enne pour identifier les variantes g\u00e9n\u00e9tiques associ\u00e9es au CSC. Les chercheurs ont d\u00e9couvert 14 variantes g\u00e9n\u00e9tiques pr\u00e9c\u00e9demment connues, ainsi que 8 nouvelles variantes. Collectivement, ces variantes g\u00e9n\u00e9tiques expliquent environ 9% de l&rsquo;h\u00e9ritabilit\u00e9 du CSC.
