O corpo divide os carboidratos em glicose, um a\u00e7\u00facar que \u00e9 usado como fonte de energia. Existem dois tipos de carboidratos: simples e complexos. Carboidratos simples incluem p\u00e3o branco e refrigerante. Eles s\u00e3o rapidamente decompostos, levando a um aumento do a\u00e7\u00facar no sangue. Exemplos de carboidratos complexos s\u00e3o p\u00e3o integral e aveia.
