Fatores ambientais, incluindo alguns herbicidas, pesticidas e a exposi\u00e7\u00e3o ao rad\u00f4nio tem sido associada a um risco aumentado de desenvolver LLC. Este estudo encontrou m\u00faltiplas variantes gen\u00e9ticas que est\u00e3o associadas a um risco aumentado de desenvolver CLL ap\u00f3s examinar os genomas de 10.767 indiv\u00edduos de ascend\u00eancia europeia. Essas variantes rec\u00e9m-descobertas explicam cerca de 1% da herdabilidade para CLL e quase 17% quando combinadas com variantes descobertas anteriormente.
