These are separated by category. Users can select which raw data analysis and report they want. All reports are curated from peer reviewed scientific studies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We ordered a Gene Nutrition analysis of publicly available DNA raw data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This report is advertised as \u201cSame Day Delivery.\u201d It took about 10 hours for the analysis to be completed. While this is \u201csame day,\u201d it is worth noting that competitors, such as <a href=\"https:\/\/nebula.org\/blog\/genetic-genie-review\/\">Genetic Genie<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/nebula.org\/blog\/promethease-review\/\">Promethease<\/a>, provide results within just a few minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, we found that the results are easier to understand than competing sites. We received a 26-page PDF via email.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-summary-section\">Summary section<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Xcode Life Gene Nutrition report included 36 different health traits, including nutrition, fitness, and skin health. The reports for each one start with an introductory guide. This guide starts by giving users some fun-facts about their nutrition. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For example, in this specific one, Xcode Life shares that \u201c53% of Mexican Americans are lactose intolerant.\u201d The next page defines some key terms, answering questions such as \u201cWhat does the term \u2018average\u2019 mean in the report?\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Next, the paper goes into more detail with a \u201cSummary of Results\u201d page. This summary begins with a pie chart and key takeaways from the user\u2019s genome analysis results. In this case, Xcode Life provides a diet plan. Other sites make it easy with automatic deletion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>User DNA raw data files are not automatically deleted. Instead, users must do it themselves. To remove personal information, users must send an email to the Xcode Life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-xcode-life-in-the-news\"><strong>Xcode Life in the News<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The company, which started in 2010, has made some headlines through the years. For example, the Deccan Chronicle <a href=\"https:\/\/www.deccanchronicle.com\/nation\/in-other-news\/081217\/are-you-a-100-indian-well-maybe-not.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">featured a note<\/a> in 2017 describing Xcode Life Sciences as a great contributor to Indian ancestry.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.prnewswire.com\/news-releases\/xcode-life-announces-the-south-asian-genome-sage-project-300671153.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">One 2018 story<\/a> detailed the Indian company\u2019s aspiration for a South Asian Genome Project for South Asian Ancestry.
