Nebula Genomics does not offer expedited shipping or rush delivery of its kits. This means delivery might take longer than normal in some cases, or certain times of the year (holiday seasons). Orders being sent within the United States typically ship within 72 business hours and arrive within 14-business days once shipped. International orders usually ship within the same 72 business hour timeframe but will take longer to be delivered. Depending on the region/country it’s being shipped to the delivery time is estimated between 2-6 weeks.
Nebula does not guarantee delivery times, nor are refunds warranted for delayed shipping times. If your kit is returned to Nebula or determined undeliverable we will credit a full refund at that time.
30x and 100x Whole-Genome Sequencing and Nebula Explore Premium™
30x Whole Genome Sequencing with Nebula Explore Premium™ is a bundle that consists of high-coverage (30x) Whole-Genome Sequencing and a subscription for the Nebula Explore reporting service.
Refund Policy:
- 30x and 100x Whole-Genome Sequencing: The fee for 30x and 100x Whole-Genome Sequencing is billed at the time of the purchase and all orders are final and not refundable under any conditions once the order has been confirmed. If your kit does not arrive or is not delivered successfully, a new kit will be sent.
- [Updated 6/8/20] Nebula Explore Premium subscription: 30x and 100x Whole-Genome Sequencing is bundled with a subscription service, called Nebula Explore Premium. The Nebula Explore Premium subscription incurs a recurring fee. The first subscription fee is billed when your results are ready. To avoid recurring charges, you must log in to your Nebula user account and cancel your subscription under the Edit Profile section. Cancellation will be effective immediately, and you will have continued access to the Nebula Explore services for the remainder of the period for which you have already paid. NEBULA IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR FAILURE TO TIMELY CANCEL YOUR SUBSCRIPTION RENEWAL, NOR FOR ANY CREDIT CARD CHARGES AND FEES YOU INCUR AS A RESULT OF YOUR FAILURE TO TIMELY CANCEL A RENEWAL.
- [If purchased before 6/8/20] If the lifetime option is selected, a single payment is billed at the time of the purchase with no recurring payment. For each of the three options, the first subscription payment (quarterly, yearly, or lifetime) is not refundable. For the quarterly subscription option, this fee is billed quarterly. For the yearly subscription option, this fee is billed annually.
- 100x Upgrades
The cost of upgrading from 30x to 100x is a one-time payment of $700. During certain windows of time when our lab has the resources to do so, Nebula will offer 100x upgrades to customers who purchased 30x previously. The lab will check to see if there is enough DNA left on the previous sample that was sequenced and if there is then an invoice for $700 will be emailed to that person. Once payment is collected there is a strict no-refund policy. This is because once the lab is notified that the sample is to be upgraded (once payment is received) the re-sequencing process then begins which is irreversible. - Samples that are not submitted within 6 months of the time of purchase will not be sequenced. Failure to submit your sample within 6 months of purchase does not constitute grounds for refund or replacement of collection kit.
***All 30x and 100x whole-genome sequencing purchases will receive access to an ancestry experience/results, but this feature will not be LIVE or accessible until early 2021.***
Nebula Expand ™
Nebula Expand is the name of our reporting service for users who upload third-party genetic data.
Refund Policy:
*Nebula Genomics reserves the right, at its absolute discretion, to modify the terms of our Nebula Explore service policy at any time without prior notice and with no liability.
Today, there are three options for Nebula Expand; Free, Monthly subscription, and Yearly subscription. Some content is hidden for the free version of Expand and the rest of the content is only accessible with a monthly or yearly subscription. The free version allows users to experience the service before committing to a monthly ($14.99) or billed yearly ($9.99/mo) subscription option. For the yearly subscription option, this fee is billed annually which means the entire yearly subscription is due at checkout.
If you decide that you want to cancel your monthly or yearly subscription, then you may do so at any point by logging into your Nebula user account and canceling your subscription under the Edit Profile section. This blog post will illustrate the aforementioned cancellation process. Cancellation will be effective immediately, and you will have continued access to the unlocked version of the Nebula Expand service for the remainder of the period for which you have already paid.
0.4x Whole Genome Sequencing with Nebula Explore™
0.4x Whole Genome Sequencing with Nebula Explore™ is a bundle that consists of low-coverage (0.4x) Whole-Genome Sequencing and a subscription for the Nebula Explore reporting service.
Refund Policy:
- 0.4x Whole-Genome Sequencing: The fee for 0.4x Whole-Genome Sequencing is billed at the time of the purchase and is not refundable.
- Nebula Explore subscription: 0.4x Whole-Genome Sequencing is bundled with a subscription service, called Nebula Explore. The Nebula Explore subscription incurs an annual fee. The first annual fee is charged after we have received your sample OR sixty (60) days after your purchase, whichever occurs first. For a refund of your first annual Nebula Explore subscription fee, you must submit a request to the Nebula Genomics support team before you return your sample OR, if the sample was not returned, within sixty (60) days of the date the order was placed. The Nebula Explore subscription will renew on the anniversary date of the first annual payment. To avoid recurring charges, you must log in to your Nebula user account and cancel your subscription under the Edit Profile section. Cancellation will be effective immediately, and you will have continued access to the Nebula Explore services for the remainder of the period for which you have already paid.
