Sr9009 Introduction

Stenabolic (SR9009) is a synthetic drug developed by Professor Thomas Burris of the Scripps Research Institute to improve people’s overall health and quality of life. It is also known as a selective androgen receptor modulator or SARM. SARMS are not steroids and some do not require post cycle therapy (PCT) (others, like RAD 140 do). The compound was engineered to work for bodybuilders, weightlifters, and athletes. Marketing claims that this drug affects the genes regulated in physical health thereby improving stamina and increasing endurance, which leads to accelerated weight loss.

When tested on mice, the drug proved to reduce anxiety, increased endurance, and decrease inflammation, weight, and cholesterol

However, the effects of Stenabolic have only been tested on laboratory animals. It is yet to be tested on humans; thus, SR9009 side effects and dosage are unknown. If tried in humans and proven to be suitable for use, it would offer significant benefits like the effects of exercise on the body.

Potential beneficial effects include:

  • Improve stamina and endurance
  • Increase fat burning capability
  • Preserve muscle mass
  • Improve cardiovascular health
  • Reduce cholesterol
  • Reduce anxiety
  • Improve metabolism

That may mean you don’t necessarily have to be at the gym every morning to stay healthy. However, using SR9009 is not encouraged, pending its further testing and approval for humans. Due to abuse in the bodybuilding industry, it is listed among the World Anti-Doping Agency list of prohibited drugs.

Professor Thomas Burris, who develops Stenabolic, was the director of The Scripps Research Institute from September 2008 – 2013. He is a Professor, Department of Molecular Therapeutics; Professor, Department of Metabolism and Aging; and Director, Center for Diabetes and Metabolic Diseases. Professor Thomas Burris is the vice president for Research and Graduate Education at the University of Health Science and Pharmacy – St. Louis.

Scripps Research Institute is an independent, nonprofit biomedical Institute known for its outstanding research and educational works.

Review of SR9009 Science

The effects of SR9009 have been tested in cell viability assays for anticancer treatments and on lab animals like mice for a wide range of effects, but have not yet been tested on humans. Currently, it is classified as a research chemical and is not FDA approved. Since there has been no clinical trials in humans, little is known about how it may affect the human body, either short term or long term.

This drug was discovered due to Thomas Burris’s observation that blood cholesterol could be truncated when ligand molecules are in action while also enhancing metabolism rate. This can help increase the rate at which lose fat and also promote endurance. This discovery led to SR9009.

SR9009 is a ligand that acts on a protein called REV-ERB, which ensures the correct functioning of circadian rhythms. When it binds, it activates REV-ERB, boosting the protein’s activity. When used on mice, SR9009 alters the activity and circadian clock (sleep) patterns of the animal. Because of the positive physical effects of this synthetic drug in animals, it has been oftentimes illegally used to boost physical performance, especially bodybuilders who refer to it as “exercise in a bottle.”

Animals treated with SR9009 revealed that the drug increases oxygen consumption, decreases fat storage, reduces generation of new fat cells in the liver, increases the number of mitochondria in muscle, reduces production of cholesterol and bile acids in the liver, and increases glucose and fatty acid use in muscle.

Studies conducted on mice also show that treatment with SR9009 aids fat loss and body weight loss, reduces cholesterol level, increases endurance, decreases inflammation, treats heart disease, and reduces anxiety and tissue damage. SR9009 shows no sign of liver toxicity when tested on mice. However, since this drug lacks research in humans, no side effects or risks of SR9009 have been reported. Taking it could be highly dangerous; hence, its use is not encouraged by the medical community.

In 2020, scientists assessed the efficacy of REV-ERB agonist SR9009 for the treatment of Small Cell Lung Cancer (SCLC). They sought to identify potential DNA sequences directly regulated by REV-ERBα and possibly distinguish the mechanism of SCLC therapy.

How to Get SR9009

The average person should not buy stenabolic and the accessibility of SR9009 depends largely on where you live. It’s extremely important to understand whether you can legally purchase this compound. Technically, it is legal to purchase in every country except Australia although some countries allow you to buy SR9009 only if you mean to use it for research purposes. In other areas, you can purchase SR9009 directly from online stores like Amazon. All you need is to order the quantity you want, and it’ll be delivered to your doorstep.

You can also order from Paradigm Peptides, which offers a wide variety of payment methods with backed research and in-lab certified research.

However, chemicals like SR9009 purchased from this venue are intended for research purposes only. A disclaimer on the product page states that “This product is not intended to treat, cure, or diagnose any condition or disease and is not for human consumption.

Other companies that cater to research institutions may also sell this research chemical as well as private supplement companies like provenpeptides.com.

If you work in an experimental laboratory, you can find SR9009 for sale from companies such as Millapore Sigma and VWR. It’s important to note that in most cases, you are required to provide a business address and documentation to prove that you are legally allowed to purchase this compound for experimental purposes. These chemicals are purified for lab use only and cannot be consumed by humans.

SR9009 Dosage

People who have acquired the compound through commercial companies have claimed that 10 – 30 mg per day (usually 10mg in the morning) was the ideal dose. However, since this drug has not been tested or approved for human use, it is not possible to determine if this dosage is safe. Medical advice would say that no amount of this substance is safe for use.

SR9009 Cost

The cost from companies selling SR9009 ranges between $45 to $60 depending on where you purchase the compound. On Amazon, you can get 30ml at a concentration of 10 mg/ml for $48.99.

SR9009 in the News

As an experimental drug, SR9009 is being tested against a number of illnesses in laboratories around the world. In 2018, it was shown to have anticancer effects on brain tumors in a mouse model. A separate paper published in PNAS and reviewed by experts at Duke University School of Medicine and the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute/Harvard Medical School, demonstrates its effects on cell proliferation. Although it was as effective as the current treatment for glioblastoma, it had less toxicity effects. More research and human clinical trials are needed to confirm this, and many other potential therapeutic effects.

Nebula Genomics

Different factors cause obesity and weight gain. Among such factors are eating excessive fatty foods and lack of exercise. However, genetics is another crucial factor that affects weight gain and maintenance.

We inherit a lot of things from our parents through DNA such as our stature. This is why you’ll find some people who always seem to remain slim while others can become obese even though they have tried diet and exercise.

Individuals may have inherited a gene from their parents that makes them predisposed to either thinness or obesity. Knowing your susceptibility can help you decide what actions to take and whether medication may be appropriate to help avoid obesity.

Most DNA tests only decode 0.02% of your genetic makeup. If you desire to obtain a more comprehensive result, you should consider Nebula Genomics.  What do we do differently? With 30X Whole Genome Sequencing, every strand of your DNA will be decoded. In other words, we decode 100% of your DNA, providing you with a more detailed and reliable result.

You’ll also have access to our Nebula Research Library that allows you to stay up to date with the most cutting-edge genomic research and learn how it applies to your DNA results. You can also find answers to any questions about your DNA by using our powerful, browser-based genome exploration tools. And your information is in safe hands because we uphold our customer’s privacy in the best possible ways.

There may be better ways to get in shape than shady supplements like SR9009. For instance, you can sequence your DNA to determine what kinds of health and fitness your body is predisposed to. Check out these DNA companies that do just that:
